In Hong-kong, I liked the Peak very much. I enjoyed our visit of Laama Island too.
Don’t take the subway in Tokyo, because it is far too crowded.
You must see the Great Barrier Reef ! But beware of the jellyfish.

The great fire of the imperial city of Edo (the former name of the Japanese capital Tokyo) destroyed 60% of the population. The fire started March 2, 1657 and killed 100,000 lives. The fire spread quickly due to very strong winds (like a hurricane) and that houses were built of paper and wood and where built very close to one another.
The Samurai(s) were the warriors of premodern Japan. They wore an armour, a helmet and two swords : a long one (for battle) and a short one (for self protection). The samurai, also called “bushi” needed to respect a code. The code was known as “bushi-do”.
This temple is for worship of two gods: MAN TAI the god of literature and MO TAI the god of war. It was built in 1847 (video).
